You see I wrote I just made this for ‘learning’ about layers… (LOTS) This tree grows right by a car park – so any image of it and it’s beautiful roots has lots of lovely shiny modern cars parked around it :( I was also kind of thinking as I was making it that I’d put a ‘monster’ coming out of the darker part of the roots on the LHS – maybe a close-up macro of a huntsman spider or something, but as soon as I put it there it looked soooo cliched I hated it! And, then all of a sudden the roots just ‘looked’ to me like fingers holding firm into the ground, so….
