This piece is all about the texture. We had allot of snow in the US east coast this year which inspired me to create yet another snow scene but to make it interesting I experimented with acrylic paint and toilet paper on canvas to create a relief for the mountain peaks to offer the heaviness of them bearing down on the valley and also give texture to the over all bland background.
