I work at a rural 600-bed hospital in Mississippi on a busy nephrology unit. My husband of 33 years and I have three daughters, one son-in-law, one grandson, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter, one grandkitty-daughter, and one grandkitty-son. We were given the gift of Ginger for Christmas in 2007, who has been such a blessing. I would like to write a book, someday, maybe after I retire.

Your little women with heads held high, Rain-streaked faces cannot sunshine hide
she is somewhat a tom, climbing trees, playing with liards and snakes
Two joined together to make a whole heart.
A fifty-five, sky-blue pick-up truck
But today is now and yesterday then.
Splashing pedestians with muddy lakes.
