David Page – Professional Photographer

Hi there. Born in Nottingham, England and now living in the Limousin region of France. Black and White fine art photography has been my passion since the early days of my dark room rigged up in my bathroom and the ever present smell of chemical developers through to the digital age now and the ever present requirement to upgrade my equipment ;-)

I have exhibited my work in gallerries in the UK and contimue to exhibit my work here in France and also in my on-line Gallery. I am available for Portrait and wedding photography and pride myself in the relaxed and informal approach I take to photographing people. I try and capture the more natural and expressive moments only to be found in people when they have forgotten that I am actually taking photographs. I sell my commercial photography to a number of agencies around the world and have been published in a number of magazines and books.

For me black & white pictures have always been something that hold my attention. With the absence of colour the whole story is not there in the picture, it’s the imagination of the viewer that fills in the blanks. Black & white photography is a timeless medium and when printed, matted and framed looks pretty cool hanging on your walls.
