D40 Dilemma

In April 2007 i bought myself a Nikon D40 and have been pretty pleased with ever since. I went for this camera purely because of buget constraints. Photography Etiquette

OK, so here’s the situation. You’re wandering along with your camera looking for a good spot for a photo and you see some craggy-faced-semi-ugly old man/woman that would be perfect for a black and white portrait.

How do you go about getting the photo?
