Thanks, I’m so sorry about your friend’s loss also. That’s awful! Baby Girl was almost 12 yrs old. She had been sick for awhile & she was on her way back to being healthy again (after a long battle let me tell ya) Anyway, she was skinny & had a sore on her lip still but she went from eating nothing (literally the only thing she would take in was milk for months) I tried everything too. I was so scared. In any event she was eating up to 2 plus cans of food a day every day and was gaining weight and doing really well when she got out one night & one of my neighbors scooped her up and took her to the Humane Society where they almost immediately put her to sleep claiming she couldn’t eat & was in pain. Which was bullshit, they just didn’t want to deal with her & by the time I finally found out it was already too late. I almost killed my neighbor and she has since moved but it kills me that my Baby Girl had to go that way, especially all alone. And I’m sure she was all freaked out cuz she hates car rides & she doesn’t like strangers much either so I’m sure she was scared. I really am having a difficult time dealing with it even still so it really is a good thing she moved or I’d end up in prison. Anyway, I don’t wanna cry no more so I gotta go now. =( TTYL
