Yeah ~ time out never worked for my other 2 either. (they’re 18 & 20 now) but then again I must have tried just about every form of discipline known to man & nothing ever worked except for a swat or two on the butt! So I went with what worked!!!! LOL

Thank you very much Kristine! =) Believe it or not though time out has been very effective with her where as a spanking doesn’t seem to phase her much at all. It’s crazy how they’re so extremely different in some ways & so totally alike in others! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! LOL

OMG you have no idea! She is even 1000% more precious in person so it’s been extremely difficult to discipline her because it’s literally impossible to be mad at her for more than a minute or two! LOL Thank you so much & I’ll give her an extra hug just for you! =)

Yeah she’s got it rough around here that’s for sure…........ha ha ha ~ I almost couldn’t finish typing that one out! I WISH I could have it so rough!!!! Thank you & yes, I know exactly what you mean. It broke my heart then & I’m still not so fond of it even now either, but luckily for me she isn’t either so we don’t revisit it too often! LOL I have an 18 & 20 year old also & you are sooooo right about it getting harder. But it’s our job to teach them & protect them & love them unconditionally no matter how much they resent us for it! LOL But it’s all worth it, if ya ask me. I couldn’t be more proud of the 3 of them! You obviously already know that & that’s sooooo refreshing to see because somehow there are a lot of parents out there that seem to miss that concept completely=)

ha ha ha ~ she wasn’t even 3 yet but that’s why she was there for only 2 minutes. I am 100% with you on making sure they understand they’re not bad but their action was & I’m a firm believer in nipping it in the bud also. I appreciate your input &/or advise & welcome any & all offered because as I’ve come to learn this far in life there’s always more to be learned & I’m all for that. As much as I’d LOVE to be I’m all too aware that I’m not perfect & I realize that help in any form is still at the very least help & I’m not one to intentionally turn down help. I’m also willing to help anyone that I can as well. I do have an 18 & 20 yr old also that have turned out to be very responsible, independent adults & although I’d never claim they were brilliantly behaved because that’s so not the case, however they didn’t get into any real trouble beyond some minor mischief at school that landed them in detention now & again but they both graduated high school & nobody ended up pregnant, they never got into drugs or ended up in jail nor are they headed in those directions so I’m inclined to think I had something to do with that especially since I didn’t graduate high school, did get into drugs & ended up in jail even. I didn’t get knocked up though, at least not during my out of control period thankfully! In any event, I didn’t have any intentions on being anything like my parents so I made sure they knew early on that I loved them too much to let them make bad choices without teaching them why they shouldn’t so they’d know on their own & so far so good! Thank you so very much for caring enough to “preach”! Never stop!!!! =)

Oh sure poor Trinity….......she can pour it on pretty thick, huh? LOL Bless her little heart she’s just too cute. She gets away with way more than she gets in trouble for. Because she looks like this & makes you feel so bad it’s almost impossible to punish her! LOL

Awww ~ thank you! She really didn’t care for it much so she get into much trouble (on her own even) because she doesn’t want to go back. And to be honest, I don’t want her to either! That was a rough 2 minutes for us both! LOL
