Christmas Displayed Magically
The people that live in this house go so all out for Christmas that they decorate their ENTIRE home, including the front, back & side yards, EVERY room inside, closets, hallways, kitchen, foyer, patio, swimming pool, roof, & even the garage door & driveway! There are at least 250-300 trees each decorated with a different theme &/or style! Lights upon lights upon lights upon lights! Every possible Xmas decoration you could imagine & then so many more that you hadn’t! They open their house to anyone & everyone to come inside for a free tour and they greet you in elf costumes! They do accept donations as their electric bills go through the roof during this time but they do not ever ask or hint around or even imply that you should at all. There’s a donation box located at the begining of the tour that’s it & it really doesn’t stand out much especially in comparison to the rest of the place! We’ve been going for about 3 years now & we tell anybody & everybody we can about it & where it’s at so they can go too. It really is an amazing display much more so than I can ever even describe. These people are truly beautiful people & they obviously love to spread joy to those all around them. Oh I forgot ~ they do have a very small room that has some small souvenirs you can purchase but no real big supplies of anything & a few different flavors of candy canes maybe. But that room doesn’t have any lights or props whatsoever to grab your attention like the rest of the house does. I can’t say what their motives are for doing this every year for total strangers who may or may not give a little bit for letting them come into their home but from what I’ve seen it’s not for the profit. Bless their very generous hearts!

this is just beautiful, oh my!! i would go in a heartbeat if i lived by them, what a great thing to do every year. and i think that is a great idea with a little donation box, fo rthose that can help, they are putting out a high power bill to provide joy for the community.

Yeah ~ I agree! I always give them whatever I’ve got on me(which sadly isn’t usually that much) but I give it to them every time I go because I enjoy it so much. Even if it’s only $5 they are grateful because it all helps. They’re way cool! Some places put donation boxes all over & signs pointing them all out so you feel like you have to give something for their “free” tour but not these people, not at all. If you do you do but their smiles are the same either way.

Oh yeah ~ it’s the most wonderful experience! This is only one of the rooms & there’s actually quite a bit more in it that I couldn’t get in the pic because the room expands once you get past those doors too! That’s only a mere glimpse ~ no lie! They have some really neat displays EVERYWHERE!!!! =) =)
