you are lucky you didn’t get arrested :)
Very cool, love the expression on his face – the pciture really tells a story – great photo journalism!

I find it hard to swallow that they would place a policemen in full gear to chase down turnstile jumpers. I suspect that may have been the excuse to put him in place there but there was probably a more ominous reason. He is dressed tougher than anything we saw on 9-11 last year when we arrived there.

great titel….I love his stare! Good job!!
Douzy, 5 months ago
Thank you all ! Well I guess having a big zoom helped me blend in the crowd. Wouldn’t try getting near him with a macro lens ;))

Great urban shot Douzy! I wonder what his reaction would have been had he seen you?
Angi, 5 months ago
I think he would have given you a big smile! I really like the tone of this shot.

Great work as always, Douzy. I don’t think I’d have gotten away with it. Bad enough carrying a camera; imagine being “of Middle Eastern appearance”. =)

perfect statement. Love it

Beautifully composed Douzy – really interesting and effective framing – the ordinary against the bizarre. Really excellent photojournalism combined with character study. I also really like the desaturated colour – accentuates the sense of urban grunge.

Thanks Angi – you might like to know that for the tones and played with the different effects in I-Photo (Antique/Fade Colour/Boost Colour).

love the desaturated look, and the textures you’ve brought out in the concrete here. Composition is perfect too, which is so difficult in these candid situations. Great stuff!

Excellent shot you have here! Although had you been spotted, they probably would have taken your camera and destroyed the memory card, if you were lucky enough to get it back. So here’s to you, on a job very well done! This is an excellent photojournalism shot Douzy!!!!! : )
