Douzy this is outstanding! The juxtaposition between the woman and the one in the advertisement couldn’t be better – particularly surrounded by that grafitti and with the “instant gratification” vending machine also in frame – beautifully composed this. And the use of b/w just accentuates the starkness of the theme and questions you raise. Brilliant work my friend. This has an added poignancy for me as in younger days I used to spray paint grafitti llike this on mainly cigarette advertising billboards to try and provoke just the kind of thoughts you’ve expressed here.

Great image, like the composition and treatment. Metro stations have an atmosphere all of their own .

One day long ago I left the Louvre and walked down into the metro. Sitting there was a woman that looks crazy like this girl. We chatted, had dinner and a long walk. Hadn’t thought about that night for years until now. Thanks Douzy!

This is great, love the poster on the wall and her far off gaze. After reading what the graffiti means its quite appropriate that the vending machine is also in the image. Wonderful piece :)
