Hmmm- now that’s a pretty ambiguous title Douzy – kind of subverts the romanticism of the subject and sepia treatment which is great – I love it when a title does that. As for the image itself it is just so beautifully shot – I love the intensity of the lighting and the shadow it creates on her face which creates wonderful depth, and the way it means her gaze is towards the shadow which accentuates the mystery of the title. And the contrast with her hair colour and texture is just beautiful. Fascinating image.
