Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

Taken with a Canon 5D Mark II with a Leica 100mm macro and adaptor.
Enhanced in Photoshop.

For The Curious Ones:
Early images were taken with a Canon Rebel XTi and recently with a Canon 5D Mark II -- both with a Leica 100mm macro lens and adaptor. I try to shoot in bright sunlight at about 1:30 p.m. at 1/1000second and then exposure bracket at /8 or f/11 or f/16 at ISO 800. -- Doug Norkum

Exquisite! How do you get these amazing backgrounds with the suspended flowers popping off the page? LOL! Of course, this is a secret! In short, your photographs are perfectly gorgeous! Fave, Maggie

  • In the past I have gone to the Hamilton, Montreal and Niagara Britannica Gardens to photoshoot. If the backgrounds are deemed to be distracting, then, I use Photoshop to remove them! You may also be interested to know that I spray them with a very fine mist of clean water to get the early morning dew effect and to help with the focussing of the image.

  • Thank you Donna and I’ll look for that Peace Rose. Sometimes I am not sure of their name if they look somewhat similar.
