thanks for your comment, Lora. If I remember correctly, the blue was a combination of ultramarine and prussian. I could have thrown in a touch of something else; I don’t really remember! I use a lot of brands of watercolors; Windsor Newton, Reeves, DaVinci, Grumbacher, Talens

The entire painting, with the exception of the peninsula jutting out into the lake, along with the rocks, is wet in wet, with details added after.
