Aguasabon Golf Clubhouse
watercolor painting 18” x 24” on Arches cold pressed paper
The Aguasabon (pronounced Ah-gwa-saw-bon) Golf course in Terrace Bay has a club house that is nestled at the base of terraced land above which, until recently closing, the pulp mill belched white smoke into the air.
Although it’s a relatively short golf season north of Lake Superior, the location is beautiful and it’s a charming 9 hole public golf course.
Aguasabon Golf Clubhouse belongs to the following groups:
Fine Arts, Gone Golfing, Lake Superior: Gitchigami, Landscape Painting, Realist Traditional Art and Scenery Available for sale asGreeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

Wow, Douglas, at first glance I thought this was a photo digitally painted – THEN I saw your name and that it was indeed a watercolor! Soooo well done, my friend! The trees on the hillside, the deck verticals, and the perfectly colored and rendered shadows – wow! I’d love to take lessons! – Pat
