I used to see them (informally!) when out with Girlies quite often, but they no longer seem to fly over York . I have seen Vulcan a few times, always in grey weather, sadly, considering he’s grey himself. My dad used to work at where ever they live and was always full of tales about their training and performances, impressive flying skills.Lovely shot, Dougie
many thanks jes had a similar experience with a vulcan years ago, on a school holiday.a similar grey day on top of high peak. one just appeared through a gap in the clouds with tremendous noise! scared the hell out of us all!!
