my local pub, the Tiger Inn, our landlord, martin decided to put a regular show in the beer garden, which is quite large. he has suffered badly it the hands of the north york moors planning authority, who seem to be hell bent on thwarting his every move to improve our village life. they were unable to stop his latest venture, which is to have a bi-annual event here. this was the second attempt , and although the weather has been horrendous, martin and a few of the regulars have built a stage, an outdoor bar and barbeque, complete with light show, and al, the nescessary equipment.
tonight was our second concert night, complete with kiddies entertainer, face painting, (tigers of course) and a fine selection of entertainers, climaxing with a fantastic pop group! agreat time was had by a large attending crowd of local people. i volunteered to do pics, along with a an extremley talented wedding photographer, one debbie stodgen, who did a sterling job covering most of the days events, and i joined with her in the early evening. the event was really well attended and in the face of inclement weather, a fine time was had by all!!
