Zion Lutheran Church, Lexington, SC
This congregation, the oldest continuing church in Lexington County, originated with pioneers who settled in this area in the 1740s. Organized at Zion in 1787 was the “Corpus Evangelicum,” consisting of 15 congregations to supervise the German churches in the state’s interior. The church was located at two previous sites near the river before moving to its present location in 1922.

WOW!!!!!!! What a fabulous image!! ;-))
Thank you :-)
From the outside, it just looks like a many-paned window. I was completely blown away by it when I walked into the sanctuary.
