Macro image of a car’s turn signal showing the retroreflector pattern that makes a small light visible in all directions and over long distances.

Straight from the camera. Nikon FM-2, 28mm on extension tubes, Fuji Velvia (50) slide film, exposure unrecorded. Light was the sun setting behind my car, streaming straight through the front signal.

who’d have thought there could be so much art and beauty in such a simple, every day object? It looks like a golden, crystal beehive. :)

  • Thank you. I knew the pattern was there but until I got a good close picture of it, I didn’t realize the beauty of it.

very cool, where’s the green light coming from? I’m assuming not from your last name :)
