Castle Stalker - Scotland by Doug Chinnery

Castle Stalker - Scotland by

This image, made after the sun had set and using five stops of Lee Pro-Glass ND filters with 3 stops of Lee ND Grad to balance the exposure, captures the jetty that leads the eye across the loch to Castle Stalker, just south of Fort William on Loch Linne.

The long exposure captures not just the passing of time and its effects on the clouds and water but it also enhances the colours in the sky.

This exposure was about three minutes long.
