I had to work fast to capture the frost on this Ivy shoot growing up a Silver Birch tree.

The suns first rays of the day were making the bark of the tree glow beautifully but the heat was melting the frost very quickly.

Using a macro lens I tried to capture the warm glow of the bark with the fresh crisp coldness of the Ivy covered in frost.
