It’s that time of year, again.

The temperatures are warming, the snow is melting, the ice is off the lakes and rivers, where ever there’s a strong current.

The only thing missing is colour. Everything looks kind of drab.

What to do? Use black and white !!!

This image is of a backlit floating dock, just above the discharge of Wabigoon Lake. It consists of black plastic “pillows”, pinned together. For a result with a bit more pop, I increased the contrast and inverted the images 180 degrees to give it the appearance of a ceiling of some sort.

Gotta play !!!

That is very cool Stan!! Love the B&W!! Gives it great effect with the light! How clever of you, and very artistic my friend! :P

  • Why thank you very much for that, m’am, comment and fav included. :)
When I was working on it, it seemed to be missing that “something.”
Stood on my head for a while and liked it better.
Thought “There must be an easier way to do this.”
    Finally found it. :))
I’ll get these confusers figured out yel. lol.
