The morning sun burns through a fairly heavy cloud cover, silhouetting the poplar trees.
The sun reminded me, as much as anything, of the moon. The image was turned into black and white, via the saturation slider in Photo Shop, and an orange grad layer added to provide the colour. (It was actually quite a drab morning.) The blending mode of the grad layer was changed to “Color” to allow the original image to show through.
