A white tail doe has been bringing her twins to the back yard lately. Yesterday (July 2/09) was the first time they stayed for any length of time. They were actually kind enough to let me wander back to the house, get the camera, change lenses and get back outside for a half dozen or so snaps.

  • Thanks, Blair !
Ol’ mama must be getting used to us again. This is the first time she left them this long. Maybe I was supposed to be babysitting.
Oh, well, I do the same thing when I’m watching kids, i.e. pull out the camera. :)

Wow, Stan, what beaty you have in the back yard! These the young white-tailed wild reindeers are really beautiful, well done Stan!

  • Sometimes the life of a wildlife photographer is rough; sometimes it’s not. lol.
Just about all the deer pics I’ve posted so far have been taken around the little pond of rushes in my back yard. Maybe I should just stay home more !! :)
    Thanks much, Veikko.
