On one of my many ventures along the shore of Wabigoon Lake, a curious fox stopped to watch me. Of course, in a situation like this, the wide angle conversion lens was attached to my camera. He watched me comically fiddle with my equipment, trying to remove the lens, camera bag and tripod flailing around. Any other animal would have headed for the hills. Not this guy. He sat and watched. I think I could actually hear him laughing. As situations like this don’t happen every day, I finally decided to mount the camera on the tripod and get what I could with the wide angle. He allowed me one shot before he left. I guess the show was over.
