Stan Wojtaszek

Profile

Stan (Sr.) and Stan (Jr.) Wojtaszek are a father and son photography team from North-Western Ontario. Both were born and raised in Balmertown, ON., a small mining community. We subsequently relocated to Dryden in 2001.

We are avid, self-educated photograpers. Stan Sr. received his first camera at the age of 12 and began a life long journey with the craft. Stan Jr. began at the age of 8 but it took another fourteen years before he was seriously infected by the bite of the shutter bug.

Being long time residents of the north, we developed a love of the outdoors and an appreciation for the diversity mother nature provides. Photography became a natural extension of our vision; a vehicle for us to capture what we see and a means of sharing those images with others.

Sometimes it’s the vista that moves us, other times it’s just a small fraction of the whole.

Beauty and nature surround each and every one of us. All we have to do is stop, look, listen, feel, and, above all, enjoy.
