Stan (Sr.) and Stan (Jr.) Wojtaszek are a father and son photography team originally from North-Western Ontario. Both were born and raised in Balmertown, ON., a small mining community, subsequently relocating to the Kawartha Lakes region in 2010 after a nine year layover in Dryden, ON.
Stan Sr. received his first camera at the age of 12 and began a life long journey with the craft. Stan Jr. began at the age of 8 but it took another fourteen years before he was seriously infected by the bite of the shutter bug.
Being long time residents of the north, with it’s ready access to the outdoors, we developed a love and an appreciation for the diversity mother nature provides. Photography became a natural extension of our vision; a vehicle for us to capture what we see and a means of sharing those images with others.
Sometimes it’s the vista that moves us, other times it’s just a small fraction of the whole.
Beauty and nature surround each and every one of us. All we have to do is stop, look, listen, feel, and, above all, enjoy.

I wasn’t trying to figure out what that button was for – honest)
