Rémy SAGLIER

Rémy SAGLIER: born 1968 in the Saint Denis neighborhood of Paris.

He discovered Nice (French Riviera) when he finished studying and lived there for several years before moving to the inland hills near Nice.

A photographer before digital technology, he nonetheless has a particular affinity for photo-montages.

So he creates totally surreal images with a mixture of real and artificial. He has no problem depicting his own self-portrait if he has no other model.

He has appeared in numerous exhibitions in the South of France, often as part of ‘Lumiere Noire / Black Light’ of which he is a founding member in 2001. He contributes photographic work to this group.

Now his research has led him to attempt harmony between traditional photography and digital art. The best of both worlds perhaps…
