I took this from my deck this morning……!! I don’t have many neighbors at my new home but this is one of them……Holiday Lake, SE Texas
lake, water, alligator
You live in an amazing and very exciting place Dottie, all I see are cars!!! hope you are feeling better today, not so down. If you feel down just look at how much beauty surrounds you everyday and I hope that will bring a little smile to your lovely face xxxxxxxx
You are so sweet! Thank you so very much….actually between RB and my almost finished new home….I am doing so much better…Can’t really remember feeling so blessed and happy and people like you have made it that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you!!!!
Beautiful gator! She’s looking at you….I think. =) xxx
Leena…now I am not so sure she is beautiful….but, I do feel like she was looking at me because she turned right after this and kind of headed my way but not really close…this is not very good quality because I only have the zoom on the camera…and she was quite a way from me…
Wow Dottie! Don’t you just love the beauty that is around us? This is an excellent capture. Be careful!!! :o)
Well I can’t beat this one Dottie and I’m not sure I want to! You can keep him. My best in the last 24 hours were two pairs of white cockatoos canoodling on the power lines, fish jumping while doing some sunset shots last night, a white cockatoo on the pine tree outside my window this morning (I’ll post that one later) and about six Kookaburras laughing at me while I was picking the paper up this morning.
I am laughing so hard I can’t type…..that is funny…well, this is the only thing about my new place that is a little daunting….They say no one has ever been attacked….maybe a few dogs missing…Not funny…that was not funny when they told me that…but my dogs will be way away from the water…just in case…! I would trade them for a cockatoo in a minute!! Lucky you…! And by the way the bird does not laugh like a Kookaburra either..I listened to one…wow, what a sound….LOL!!
I am not sure I would want him as a neighbor. Great shot here…Kay
Kay, I agree 100%….but, maybe we can co-habitat if he will stay in the water and I stay out of the water!!!! Thank you much!!
Yikes!!! Dottie. Is it a gator or a croc???. It looks like a croc to me. Your country is so full of bitey things hahaha. Great capture mate ;)
It’s a gator….we are kind of close to Louisiana so I guess they sent some of their gators this way…I’m not fond of them…..Thank you so much…and yes it seems we do have a lot of bitey things
Thank you for the wow, cheryl!!
… and Dottie, I got a great laugh back!!
That is some neighbor!! Great capture, Dottie. xx
LOL! Don’t want to have any conflicts for sure!! Thank you, Lori!
nice neighbour you have there!
LOL! Yes, kind of want to stay on good terms!!
