I sure did, why did I think of you while I was sweeping the floor the other day, I think I thought of my little Queenie the other day and of course where did that lead? Where on earth is Dottie these days? I never knew that you had knee replacement hon, how are you doing with that? I am on dock for an ankle replacement,,,,,kinda scary but welcome back hon and hope to see you in the realm of things soon, so nice of you to get in touch for an update. Yes, I had a friend that just had a hip replacement and she is up and going in just 10 days! They tell me the knee is a little different because you literally have to learn to walk and bend it again…I am getting there though!!

I had a knee replacement back in 2006 and it work fine now. But the swelling is a problem and I still have a nerv reductions ( is that the words ?) but I have no pain at all and that is worthy everything. The only thing that restrain is the swelling.
My Dr. told me that I have to bend the knee in 140° to walk down on the stairs and to use a bicycle. And I promise you that it could take awhile :) But it worth it all. I have my training in my barn. I use the stairs several times per day to get better and better and one day I acctually could use my bicycle :D
Take care my friend and keep training even if it hurts. You get better and better I promise :D
DottieDees:
Hi Mariana! Thanks for your input on the knee…it is funny that you mentioned bicycle..my therapist asked if I knew anyone with a stationary bike and I don’t..so I thought I would try to ride my real bicycle today..well, first thing I did was fall…didn’t hurt my knee….then I finally got on it and could not let my knee go all the way to top because I could not bend it that far…well one time I tried it and it hurt so bad I thought I would faint! So that will have to be for a later time..lol! I don’t have much swelling anymore and they told me that I needed to bend mine 120 and I am only at 110. The exercise is for sure the only way to get it going…but, it sure is hard to hurt yourself!! lol! I hope you get yours going too…I can’t wait because I could not bend down before and get those shots down low to the ground…but soon I will be able to…YEA!
I have missed all my friends here on RB and missed my camera!!
MarianaEwa
Well…if I get down to macro shots it take awhile to came up again ,,,LOL Down is easy but up is hard :D I cant make it 140° but I can use the bike if I raise the sadle :) and I have to hold on to the sides when I go down a stairs. But as I told you…no pain :))))
DottieDees:
I will be so glad when all the pain is gone! Just like this morning I woke up and it is really hurting right on the knee cap!! The pain kind of moves around…but, there are some days that it doesn’t hurt….every time my therapist comes and we work it a lot, the next day it really hurts!!
