VERY WONDERFUL, Debbie!!!!! I hope you’re working on a book!!!
Thanks, Sally. At the rate I’m working, it will be a long, long time before I have enough to make a book. But the illustration pictured on the calendar cover was published in They Draw and Cook (cookbook) just recently along with a hundred other fabulous illustrated recipes. You might want to take a look on Amazon.

This is very clever and pleasing to the eye! Have you considered illustrating a cook book? OOps! Looks like others have suggested the same idea! But the book doesn’t have to be long. It could be a cute gift type of little book. Maybe only 25 pages – illustration on one side and recipe with smaller decorative illustrations dancing around it. I can just imagine it! Your colors are lively and drawing adorable. People love folk art (I know I do!). Very praise-worthy creativity and, I can only imagine what a fun and interesting life you lead!

Thank you, Ellen, for all the encouraging comments here and elsewhere! On my Daruma Santa post you asked about my background. The skeletons in my closet were revealed in this recent Japan Times interview: http://www.japantimes.co.jp/text/fl20111105a1.html (I wish it wasn’t so obvious how much I hate having my picture taken) ;p
