the kitchingman surname, we were going to try and find allerton chapel, as the kitchingman’s are suppose to have a stained glass window there, and castle inn, a private home now, is where mary kitchingman died, its at allerton chapel to apparently, i was trying to confirm these details..lol. and st peters church in leeds parish church has the grave of robert kitchingman died 1716, mary and robert lived in stainbeck lane mayhall manion in chapeltown (chapel allerton).we did find kitchingman graves in the cemetary in allerton cemetary, but we dont think they are related..not connected them yet..lol…
This cemetery is in York, Leeds is about 30 miles away.
yes i know leeds is further away, thats why we didnt get there, we did how ever go to one on the out skirts of the town and one in the middle, near the new allerton chapel in york, got about five head stones that were kitchingmans..thanks :) k
