The Moors Inn is located in the quiet village of Appleton-le-Moors in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The unspoilt village of Appleton-le-Moors, historically mentioned as “Apeltun” in the Doomsday book,.
The village is situated ideally for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and Heritage Coast, as well as the pretty local market towns. The inn, which throughout its varied history was called The Blue Boar (until 1845) and the Oddfellows Arms (until the 1980s) is a grade II listed building, built in the 18th century.
