silent night
Empty street on an early morning after heavy snow fall in Lauter, Saxony, Germany. It had been snowing for 4 days. I used flash to capture the falling snow flakes. (Canon EOS 50D)

Oh my gosh, it is snowing now????? This is so pretty with the way you captured the light and the snowflakes! It would make a great Christmas card!

your captured snow effect is nature’s grunge treatment. Shake that globe! Animated and picturesque.

Wow, i thought you used photoshop to add the snow but this is real ? A lovely image even if i am not looking forward to snow. My job means i have to be on the road no matter what happens, And i dont like driving in this. Well done on a great image.

I love this, and memories of snow in Germany are very strong for me,
Driving into Hamburg one winters evening, as we rounded a bend on the Autobahn and Hamburg came into sight, draped in snow and with the lights coming on all over the city, one of the band members was singing This and it has always stuck with me, so much so that I raely play the version in English now
thank you for posting this Dorit, beautiful image
