This photo shows the red paper laterns that go across the streets in Chinatown which is in Soho, a district of London. I believe the laterns are being put up for celebrations. I took the shot at this angle to show a complete different image of the so over photographed street scene. Sorry bin momentan nicht aktiv auf RB. Muss mich aufs studieren konzentrieren und RB lenkt zu sehr ab. Schau trotzdem ab und zu mal rein um zu sehen was so los ist. :)

Erst einmal vielen Dank fuer die favourites in letzten Tagen. Bin momentan nicht richtig aktiv auf RB, schau aber trotzdem ab und zu mal rein.
Zu Deiner Frage, ich benutzte mehrere Texturen die ich uebereinander lege. Dann benutzte ich verschieden blend modes (keine Ahnung wie die deutsche Bezeichnung dafuer ist in PS.) Die Texturen nehme ich entweder selbst auf oder lade sie runter. Da gibt es eine ganze Menge im Net zur freien Benutzung. Hier ein paar addressen: http://www.texturewarehouse.com/gallery/, http://www.flickr.com/photos/telzey/sets/72157603659492903/. Macht richtig spass zu experimentieren kann aber auch sehr zeitaufwending werden. Fuer Truly Untitled hab ich 5 Tage gebraucht und mehrere Versionen gespeichert. Die letzte Datei hatte 27 layers :) Meistens nehme ich auch die Texturen per Maske zurueck von den Details die mehr oder weniger unveraendert bleiben sollen. Farb gradients gebe ich meist zum Schluss dazu um die Stimmung zu veraendern.
Ich hoffe das war einigermassen verstaendlich :) Schreib mir ne b-mail falls Du noch Fragen hast. Viel Spass beim Experimentieren.
