I love the feeling of this picture with the warm tones of the tiles and the bricks contrasted with the cold of the railing. I also love all the different directions with the bricks one way, the tles another and the capping and railing on the diagonal. Great find and great photo

    G’day Dorit,

It’s the greens that do it for me!!!!!

Then comes the geometry, composition, patterns, textures, lighting/exposure/processing and then the focus and more intricate detail.
    Well spotted and well presented.

    How bold and vibrant!!!

“It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.”

Great find. I love the rich green of the tiles, they look so clean and cared for even though they’re broken, and the warmth of bricks; even the light is warm; the lines, both diagonal and straight, make a strong image. Beautifully shot.
