    Thank you for your comment.
    I add the textures in Photoshop. I normally shoot images of textures myself, like gravel or grass but there are some built in in PS. For this one I used an image of a rusty iron fence. The texture goes on top of the image and then I experiment with blending modes and opacity. My favourite blending modes are Overlay, Soft Light or Colour Burn. You can also add a layer mask to “erase” the texture from parts of the image. I tend to spend quite a bit of time experimenting with different textures and/or a combination of texture and blending modes. It’s good fun and I end up with several version. The most time consuming bit of the process is the decision making… lol
