I need a new camera and there’s a plethora of amazing cameras being advertised at the moment interest free blah blah blah!
I only really want to use it to photograph my art. I tend to have rather dark shots of all my artwork -I’m a fairly dreadful photographer!
Should I just go for the highest amount of megpixel thingo jiggos?

The shots are dark because camera meters see everything as gray! You have to over expose a drawing for instance done on white paper. (Two F Stops) I’m still a film man so I can’t advise you on digital very well, but you can ask others here or elsewhere if you see they are getting good shots of their work. You had me at Egon Schiele and erotic art…http://www.redbubble.com/people/mtnman/art/2496...

Haha! Thanks for that! I’ll remember that when I take my next shots! :-)

hi dorian, any generic (i.e canon) digital camera thats 5 megapixels (at least) or higher will do the job without needing any major tech know how…hope that helps. cheers
