I have tried very hard for a storm shot hat I could be happy with. I have sat for hours on exposed ridgelines only to have the storm pass by with no good shots to show for it .one night the rain came in first and i had to watch the lightning from in side my car then on my way home the road was blocked by fallen trees .But look what I got for Christmas

Great shot ! did you use a filter ?
Hi mate i only used a Polaroid filter in this shot and that is only to give a longer exposure and more chance to get a lighting bolt.
