Finally i have the shot that i am happy with to me this shows why he is called the Superb lyerbird and i only wish you could hear his song..Yarra Valley. Australia.
Oh Don, Man you’ve nailed it, best lyre bird shot I’ve ever seen. Truly superb… Displaying in a natural environment on top of that branch man, the culmination of all your time and effort has certainly payed off with this one. You’ll sell heaps on the wall at the supermarket I’m sure.

Great capture Donovan! I love the colour you picked up in the tail. I never managed to get a nice photo of a male while in Australia and certainly never saw colour like that! Great depth and framing as well.
