Wow. Love the detail Donovan. I have looked at holes like this and have always wondered the same thing. I was told that they are made by other rocks rolling around when the water is going over it.

Wow, well that is a neck of the woods I’ve never explored, driven past often enough, certainly got me interested, such different geology compared with further south, thanks for confiding.

Got my car bogged thursday night in the Kinglake area after visiting an obscure little drop called D falls, only took a few hours to extracate myself with a jack and lots of kindeling. Before that lugged a computer monitor some #$&?head had dropped down Strath Falls, bloody hard work getting it up those cliffs.

Have a good one mate always love seeing shots of these out of the way spots you visit.

Nicely taken with the eroded rocks. I like photographing around streams although I have lost a couple of cameras in the past when it got soaked.
