Those yellow poles have always fascinated me. I’ve been told that they were done by burying the other end quite deep in the ground. Do you know if that’s true? They look brilliant however they did it. I like the way you’ve given the pole your own touch… I guess if you’d kept it at the angle they’re really on it wouldn’t have looked as good in the picture. This angle looks much better… it gives the pole a foreboding feel. Another great image Adrian. Wonderful use of light and shade… and great composition.
Impeccable timing and colour palette – you are a true painter Adrian.. love what you see and how you re-present it back to the world… Love your signature style and you have honed your skills of composition and treatments to a fine art. Highest praise for this one… wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This piece has a real mood to it, which isn’t just in the sujects or the composition or the pallette. It lies at the intersection of where these all connect, united in a perfect balance of poise and brilliance. A piece i could happily watch for hours
Thank you so much Tania, its such a pleasure to get such an insightful critique. I know I’m probably biased, but I also felt the picture captured a brief ‘moment’ of connection between the biker and driver.
