Looking at your work and wondering where in this world such things exist. Like from another planet. Maybe this isn’t here. Maybe it’s all in your head. Yes, that must be it. Truly remarkable imagination you’ve got Adrian!
wow – you have so mastered this beautiful technique… JUST SENSATIONAL Adrian, can stare at this for ages, so many beautiful things going on… flawless exceution, great idea, so well done! LOVE THIS!
Like the way you capture feeling inside of your strict geometry. How few curves or textures exist beyond the natural man and clouds in this vision. In fact, I can’t find any. Which communicates a coldness in spite of the sizzling warmth of your palette. Brrrr… the ambiguities are viciously powerful.
I have a real soft spot for the oft-relocated much-maligned Yellow Peril. For me it’s very Melbourne, just like the stolen Picasso turning up in a Spencer Street Station locker … or that chick wearing a mini to the Melbourne Cup (scandal!) ... So for me this picture just plain IS Melbourne. I love it. A

quality work Adrian – as the title suggests, an excellent composition of shapes set off with the reduced palette

Very cool, but what am I looking at?
Is it a painting?
Is it a photo?
Is it a composite?
I can’t tell, which is a good thing.

The shapes are really fascinating and I love the light on the man, the way it spills across his leg, great detail.

Like something from the 70s or 80s. Killer yellows and the person adds such movement to the image.
