I started taking pictures at age 12 when my father gave me a Leica IIIF. That was more than 40 years ago, and I’m still taking pictures. As the editor of Photo Review Australia magazine (http://www.photoreview.com.au), I have the opportunity to interview great new and outstanding established photographers for each issue. And I get to have a play with all the latest kit!
I enjoy taking pictures with anything that can capture an image, but I have a special affection for low-resolution devices such as cameraphones, toy cameras and pinholes.
My other passion is my surfing community website (www.realsurf.com). As you might imagine, a fair old percentage of my picture taking is in some way connected with surfing.

Part of the fun is playing around to see what works! It took me only four or five go’s to get a pretty good pinhole.
Whoops, admin informed me that this entry should go in Journal... so there you’ll find it…
