Volcano Helicopter tour in Hilo, Hawaii by DonnaMoore
We are on a helicopter tour that took us over the vent of the Kilauea Volcano System to view the volcanic activity. This is a view of the lava streaming directly into the ocean. The tour continues over the homes that were in the path of the latest lava flow from January. People are already building homes back in this area…

It was really exciting…Dan and I got a little sick to our stomachs when we where circling around the shore area. I still managed to get some shots. I added the other photos, so you could get an idea of what we where seeing.
