Love the sentiment Donna. I’ve only looked after two dogs – both were adopted, and both were fantastic value. :http://www.redbubble.com/people/adabbler/art/19...
Thanks Trevor…I’ve always had at least 1 dog at any given moment…they just amaze me how intelligent, loving & unconditional they are! I love the link to the pic of the 2 beautiful pups smiling…very nice!
I’ll try the link again
Awesome pic! To be appropriate for Voices for Animals, though, the message has to be inside the image – not in the title or description. :)Thanks!
Beware of Churchill’s black dog!
How true, how true…He’s always at my heels…loloxoxo Donna :)And for those of you that don’t know:Winston Churchill: 1874-1965 was Prime Minister of Britain in 1940-45 and 1951-1955.He referred frequently to his family and friends about his ‘Black Dog’ which was a euphemism for depression. He suffered with depression for most of his life and at times struggled to hide the extent of his black moods from his political colleagues. Interestingly he used to lay bricks as a means of distracting himself when depressed and felt that this kept the ‘Black Dog’ at bay.Despite his depression he is still regarded as an inspirational leader, who refused to allow Britain to even consider surrendering to Germany during the Second World War. So popular was he that after his death in 1965, some 20 years after the end of the war, he was given a full state funeral. He is also the only British leader to have a US warship named after him.
Winston Churchill. When Adolf Hitler had his one “suicide pill” ol’ Churchill had ones with vodka, brandy, and other goodies respectively (or mixed!). He had a stutter but that didn’t stop him from ruling a country and help a nation survive the war. An inspirational person of history no matter what that jerk off (from the welsh pop act: Manic Street Preachers) Richey Edwards thinks. Churchill had many flaws as he was even dyslexic but this didn’t stop him. There were no flaws in his laws of life that made him the man he was in his day.
