Profile
I create zany, dream-like digital collages with my favorite tool, Adobe Photoshop. I research my topics and then juxtapose my own photographs and paintings with vintage graphics from old magazines and publications in order to create new realities and make comments on popular culture. My goal is to entice the viewer into the piece through amusement, and then, subtly, challenge them with an underlying complex or sober comment. The resulting pieces are fun and amusing, but rarely “preachy.” Are we having fun yet?
