Artist's Description

Rooms Of My Castle

Behind the walls of mortar-ed brick is stashed
Many rooms painted in oils that lasts
Inside each one a life longing to breathe
Afternoon teas, garden bees and skinned knees
Penning on paper a Jokers fodder for sure
Spinning time into gold more precious and pure
One little girl, lost in the maze
Hides in her thoughts creating her days
So mighty the King who would banish the words
The Queen fearing of the costs if ever they were heard
Years melted the walls of painted joy and pain
Creating an inviting escape upon the River Sane
Now a Maiden she lives in the breezes
Frollick’s on beaches and does what she pleases
Pulls down the clouds, eats up the sun
Schmoozes the moon and frosting’s the fun
Every now and then she catches sounds in the mend
Of a Knight to come or perhaps it is only the wind
She is now the Queen, it matters not in the end
Her life that is blessed, her Castle now within

Decided to make you guys a Castle yesterday. I hope you like it. My dog
actually demolished the back half by laying down on it so you only have
the front. Great fun though.
