This Marine color guard and bugler were part of my favorite cousin’s funeral a couple of weeks ago.

He was buried with full honors at Leavenworth National Cemetery, with the Kansas Patriot Guard also in full attendance.

My cousin Charlie was in the Navy in WWII, along with 5 other 1st cousins of mine, then switched to the Marines at the end of the war.

Along with his Navy service during WWII, he was a Marine veteran and on the front lines in Korea and two tours of Viet Nam.

I would expect few could say they have served their country more, or more faithfully.

He was a hero.

Back again!

For whatever reason, it seems that I get off on a tangent of some sort, and find myself without RedBubble in my life. The format, etc., is so much different than before. Good different, not bad.

I hope to hook up with a number of old friends here. I miss them.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. It’s much appreciated.

A real man. “Thank you” is not enough for our countrymen who serve.
