MILO - The Crowning Beauty of Kansas in the Fall

Milo (maize) is THE fall crop in Kansas. We do have thousands of acres of sunflowers, soy beans, etc., but Milo is King. Or Queen, if you prefer.

As late summer and fall approach, the heads on the milo stalk start turning from green to the gorgeous rusty red color seen in this field. It is truly a beautiful crop.

Nothing speaks of fall around here as much as the milo fields do.
