This actually has nothing to do with electricity! I was playing with light & long exposure in my dark garage. I had a broken umbrella on the floor in front of the garage door, which was opened just a crack.

Thanks so much! It doesn’t seem to make sense, but it’s all about setting a long exposure (this was about 1.5 sec) and moving the camera back and forth. The light was shining under the door along the floor through colored cloth. Also, taking A LOT of pics to get a good one!
I’m impressed that you were moving the camera. I haven’t seen a shot done this way with such subtle results. Absolutely excellent. Thanks for the expl.
