The Sundial On the banks of the river Thames, London.* Last Saturday I ventured out early in the freezing cold and had a wonderful walk along the Southbank of the Thames, then across Tower Bridge and down by the riverside on the Northbank. I liked the look of this amazing Sundial and the way it’s balanced on old ship chains. Hope you like the early morning sunshine too. It looks warm, but it was very cold.
Picture Details Camera Nikon D700 with 28-300mm Nikon Lense. ISO 250, f/8.0, 1/160th sec, 28mm, handheld.
Can tell it was cold by the lack of visitors Don. Not often you get to see this sight on your own. Have always loved this bridge for many a year (since I was a young boy and a yearly trip to London meant seeing it if I behaved myself) and never tire of seeing it.
